I'd recommend this book to anyone. Robert Gardiner has done us all a great service with his series of books on the sailing navies, and the war in which they engaged. I do recommend that all Mehta and New Yorker fans read this book, but don't set your expectations too high.. In many cases first-hand accounts and personal interviews with some of the keenest minds of the time were used to present Oppenheimer's story in a clear and fascinating way.
This work starts with the early life of Oppenhemier and chronicles his parents desire to make his life better than theirs. Clearly illustrates both the reasons for and effects of corporate acquisition of magazines. My heart goes out to this woman. Naz continued to be a bad mother fcker, although in a good way!
