The textbook arrived before expected. I found this book much more helpful than the also oft-recommended book by Harnby, due largely to Fuller's greater breadth of topics. The level of writing is non-technical, and clearly for the beginner. It shows how they struggled to provide him with an education and helped cultivate a keen mind. This is awesome work worthy of the awards it has received and more. I've never loved a book so much. He was a victim of the Joe McCarthy era of suspected communist affiliation of many, although this was a weapon his opponents used due to envy of his accomplishments and his dedication to physics.
