Simmons had a complex personality, hard driven and tough in the style of Cobb, but with a sensitive side at times. Warms, caught fire, six miles off Asbury Park, NJ and drifted ashore. It included activities like "make a snow angel" or "let a snowflake land on your tongue." A summer activity was "jump in a lake." The games included were as basic as "Duck, Duck, Goose"! The activities might strike wonder in a 3-4 year old, but most 9-13 year olds would feel alienated by the simplicity of the activities listed.
