Only adequate writing. Every time Adelice touches those threads that hold the world of Arras together the writing is compelling. This underscores that while the creation story Goble tells can stand on its own, you always want to check out the background information that he provides. It contains some far out and difficult to find images of incredible wearable art and high fashion. Possibly my fellow subway riders are mistaking me for a holy man, and think I need to be left alone to ponder the mysteries of the universe. The excellent line drawings of facial expressions, head and ear positions add useful information. If your regrets are the type that leave you holding yourself back because of what you did or didn't do or how you did or did not act, then this book is awesome.
