More information about spectral interpretation would have been appreciated but is probably outside the scope of the book.
This book belongs on the library shelves of colleges with undergraduate chemistry programs and would be helpful in industrial and environmental laboratories as an introduction for chemists and technicians new to the field.. It is, in the parlance of today's technology, user friedly.. It came in poor condition with the spine almost detached from the book and the atlas of skeleton set was missing but luckily I was able to purchase it separately for cheap. If you like this one, you'll also enjoy Patricia Brigg's Mercy Thompson series (also urban fantasy). I mention this because the book itself only provides the briefest background of the author's current activities.
