I got this book because my son WAS loving Barney for a while. "Oh, is this true? (look for counterexample) Maybe it is/No it's not." It helps quicken the learning experience quite a bit. In addition to factual and up-to-date information about addiction's causes and treatment, it includes information from the teens themselves that is not ony profound but touching. However, as this fine book shows, such is hardly the case. As he is stripped of all his possessions, McAllester chillingly recalls words learned in hostile environment training, "Be worried if they don't blindfold you or put your head in a bag. The plot is thin and improbable. No decorations. I can finally sleep peacefully and fitfully.. The wife purchased this book for me as a Christmas present. It is never too early to introduce young students to the joys of analog criticism.. She is supposed to be writing her memoirsbut thats
