REVIEW :
Many years ago I had read an account whereby a local public official discussing the promotion of Asbury Park as a tourist destination said; “What we need is a shipwreck.” Being so many years before the development of scuba diving, it is hard to know what he had in mind but what he got was the Morro Castle! Who said; “Be careful what you wish for?” In this work, however, we find the most complete account of the life (and death!) of this single ship written in a manner which is a credit to both co-authors and I congratulate them for a job well done.
From the Introduction we learn of the Cuban connection with the ship after which each of the following 24 chapters brings a specific element to the story by explaining such a diverse selection of individual ‘bricks’ until an entire wall of information has been created. I also wanted more emotion io
