Editorial : About the Author
Denis Dwyer has been exploring wilderness areas throughout North America for the past fifty years. He has successfully kayaked from Washington to Alaska through the 1, 300 mile (2,080km) long Inside Passage twice and is the author of two books on the subject; Alone in the Passage: An Explorers Guide to Sea Kayaking the Inside Passage, and Point to Point: Exploring the Inside Passage by Kayak. Besides kayaking he has covered hundreds of miles backpacking through remote wilderness areas, paddled canoes down dozens of rivers, and spent months at a time camped under the stars.
